LOVE FULLY   +   WALK CLOSELY   +   SHARE BOLDLY

Life as a follower of Jesus is not just about what we do! The life we live each day is a fruit of the work that God is doing in us by His Spirit. We passionately pursue Him and His ways because He has saved us. God sent his only Son to take in to Himself the weight and repercussions for all our sin. In doing so He provided a way for us to live now in right relationship with Him. When we believe in Jesus, he takes our dead stony heart and replaces it with a heart of flesh that lives to love, serve, and follow Him. To Love Fully, Walk Closely, and Share Boldly, is our response to all He has done.

LOvE GOD FULLY:

"God so loved the world that He gave his Son..." He is not distant and disconnected from His creation. He loves us with an everlasting love and has displayed that love through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. His love for us compels our love for Him. As we grow in that love, our affections are transformed and we express our love through joyful trust and obedience.

LOVE OTHERS FULLY:

The relentless love that God has for us is transformative and compels us to relentlessly love others. God has declared and demonstrated His love through Christ and empowered us, by His Spirit, to declare and demonstrate His love to all people, everywhere. As His church we display His love in us, through humble sacrifice and care for the needs of others.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
— Ephesians 2:4-5
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ’This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
— Matthew 22:37-40

Remain in me, as I also remain in you.
No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches.
If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
— John 15:4-5
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.
— Acts 4:32

WALK CLOSELY WITH GOD:

Knowing God is not merely an intellectual exercise, but is an intimate, relational connection between the Creator and his creation. Through Christ, God has given us what we need to live in  communion (relationship) with Him where we learn to know Him, love Him, and trust Him with everything. We want to be a people who daily walk in relationship with God through prayer, and reading His Word both as individuals and as a church family.

WALK CLOSELY WITH OTHERS:

We are designed by God for relationships, both with Him and with one another. As the church we want to create environments where authentic, meaningful relationships can flourish. One of the primary ways the church is described in the Bible is as a family. We want to be a diverse church that lives in authentic relationships with one another and are unified as one family by the Truth of The Gospel and the love of God.

Share Him Boldly:

As Christians we are heralds of the Good News that Jesus is Lord, that he loves us, and is making all things new. It is our privilege to get to share this amazing story with the people whom God has placed in our lives. We get to declare the love and grace of God by telling the story of God and how He has saved and transformed us. We also get to demonstrate His love in how we relentlessly and sacrificially serve others. Jesus set the example for us by loving us; His enemies. When we pursue loving and serving others we display what God's Kingdom is like.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!
— Isaiah 52:7
Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
— Jeremiah 29:7
