30 Days of Prayer Day 10: United as One: Ephesians 4:1-6

Day 10

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Ephesians 4:1-6

Thank the Lord today that He has not only saved you, but made you part of His family; The Church. We are one body, one family in Christ. He has knit us together as one. All of us struggle with the desire to do our own things our way, but God has called us to love and serve one another. He has shown us that we are better together than alone and that our togetherness shows the world how amazing He is.
Confess to the Lord your pride and tendency towards autonomy. Ask Him to soften your heart and give you patience with others (especially in the church) the way they are patient with you. Ask for grace to show to others when you feel wronged and boldness to forgive and reconcile. Pray for Cornerstone, that we would be united In Jesus. That we would be one heart focused on Him and His Gospel. Pray protection from the enemies plans to try and divide us.
